ServiceProSEO is an independent digital marketing agency and specialist SEO consultancy based in the New Forest. Founded by SEO consultant Mick Edwards, the business works with service-based companies that depend on local enquiries, primarily across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset.
Mick has worked in SEO for more than 14 years, following an earlier career in technical software testing and support. That experience shaped ServiceProSEO’s evidence-led approach: examine the problem carefully, test assumptions and recommend what the evidence supports.
The consultancy was created as an alternative to the volume-agency model. Clients work directly with Mick, without outsourced delivery, rotating account teams or templated strategies. Our Story
Before SEO, Mick worked in technical software testing and support. That role taught him to check claims against evidence rather than accept them, a habit that still shapes every recommendation ServiceProSEO makes.
Fourteen years in SEO, across local businesses, national campaigns and ecommerce projects, showed him a consistent pattern. Agencies that scale by volume tend to lose the direct relationship between the person doing the work and the client.
